Kick Start the Fitness Resolution 2015 from Feb

It was Jan 1 New year 2015 . I have listed down the fitness goals and yearly Subscription also made for Gym, Yoga, Zumba and Running clubs. Missed lot of classes till now.

 Intention is to be fit , Lose X kg(not ten), Get into pant which was bought 3 years ago when i was  in college. I was very well fit till college, once i start my Professional Job Weight Graph looks so alarming (steep increase) which i would love to see in my stock portfolio.:)

 Better late than never - This is a Proverb which my friend used to keep saying whenever i didnt keep my promises after setting goal.

In our sedentary lifestyle giving dedicated time to fitness activities are  very difficult. Below are certain tricks which my friends , mentors suggested to me and am trying to follow, check whether this works for you and write a note about your success stories. We can progress if we try to include some of the fitness activities along with our daily life.

1. Form a Positive Crowd , Who passionately want to stay fit,  (who will not like to be fit like Milind Soman(boys) /xxxx for girls) / you can form a Badminton Group and Play regularly at a convenient time weekly.

2.  Reaching office by walk for atleast 3 days in a week,/ Cycle to office (which would obviously will feel /make you good ). I use starva for tracking my cycle. Website: http://www.strava.com/

3. Taking Stairs daily and counting the Steps using Apps.  This can be tracked using Pedometer Runstatic app.

4.Normal walk Post lunch, and evening during coffee break. (2km a day makes 730 km per year)
Small activities will have big impact.

5.If we form a group of People it is a good motivating factor for all of us to stay in the course.
Weekend we can join a Running Group to Run, Bengaluru has lot of Running Groups.

6. See whether Subscribed classes can be taken near by office. In case we are late we can just hop on do the work out and come back home.

7. After doi all these follow some role models in social networking, keep some good quotes in your desk,  Discuss your experience abt Work outs and pull the guy who said no to weekend badminton.

Fitness Resolution 2015

1. Cycle 2500 km per year ! Dont panic, Just 50km Per week! still easy , 5-6 km /day. Sounds simple. yeah it is

2. Running and walking 500 km/year, Run/Walk 10 km per week.

Sometimes i feel We are so obsessed with the End goal forgetting abt the Process.

If we concentrate on the Process end goal would be easily reachable. Dont look for results immediately and set conservative goal.

Some times i wonder how our grand parents stayed so healthy ! did they do all kind of activites!
